Erica Allison

I’ve been trying to remember how I first met Erica Allison. She’s a highly regarded PR guru so I think I knew about her before I actually met her.

I’m pretty sure we first met at our girls’ summer day camp. When my daughter, Kruesi was little she came home from camp one day so excited about her new friend. At the time, Kruesi was still working on pronouncing her L’s and B’s correctly; so, she said her new friend was “Wivvy.” I asked, “Libby?” and Kruesi assured me that no, it was Wivvy. A few days later, I met Kruesi’s friend, Livi and her mother, Erica.

Over the last 10 years or so, I’ve photographed Erica often at the Boys and Girls Club at fundraisers and events. We’re both passionate about supporting kids at risk. In fact, she served as the club’s board president a few years ago. Hendersonville’s club is a national model of success.
