Christine Debenedetto

About 15 years ago, Christine and her best friend, Gilda decided to open a hair salon in Asheville, NC. They named it Wink and just celebrated 18 years of being voted the “Best Of” Salon. Soon after they opened the salon, I discovered them and have been coming back for beautiful hair ever since.

Somewhere along the way, I became Wink’s photographer and I love that gig!! The Wink motto, is “Create. Educate. Elevate. Love.” I consider myself lucky to get it in on that love.

Over the years, I’ve also photographed Christine’s family. After my first shoot with them, Christine’s 4 year old daughter invited me to climb up into her playhouse fort and asked me to read her favorite princess book to her. So sweet!! Now, she’s a beautiful amazing young person who helps her mom at the salon when she’s not playing sports.

Christine has retired from being behind the chair at Wink and is busy not only running Wink but also coaching other entrepreneurs.
